JGR PT5 Polarity Tester
The PT5 Polarity Tester is a simple, user-friendly instrument specifically designed to test the polarity of multi-core backbone fiber optic cables.The PT5 can significantly improve the efficiency of production environments by providing an efficient way to test and confirm correct polarity in production environments where errors are likely to occur.
The PT5 supports testing of 24 cores of single and multimode ribbon fiber optic cable. The intuitive software quickly displays pass or fail results for any ribbon fiber cable configuration, including Type A B C D and custom profiles.
Tests can be performed with the included software package, which manages unlimited custom cable types and can export test results to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The software also offers a fault locator mode that makes it easy to identify any damaged fiber.
