ERM-202 full-band extinction ratio tester is a single-channel and dual-channel optional extinction ratio tester, which can achieve full-band measurement from 1260 to 1650nm. It can be used to measure the extinction ratio and power ratio of dual output polarization-preserving devices, such as: Y-branch fiber optic gyro IOC, polarization-preserving coupler (PMC), polarization beam splitter (PBS), and also to evaluate the output polarization of the polarizer.
The single-channel version can also be upgraded to a dual-channel version. Each channel is feedback controlled based on the PER's analog electrical output and automatically aligns the device's deflection-preserving fiber. the PER has a dynamic range of 50dB and an angular resolution of 0.06°, which is 10-20dB higher than the extinction ratio testers commonly used in the market today. better than similar competitors. The high brightness OLED screen allows the user to see the information on the display at a large field of view and at a long distance. It has four measurement speeds, high speed for field alignment and low speed for high precision measurement. It can automatically measure PER, polarization angle, power ratio and power and display them on the OLED screen.
